Bigfoot 10 time trials
Bigfoot Youth riders (aged 12 or over) have been invited to take part in Bigfoot CC's 10 mile time trial events this year. You can take part in as many or as few as you like, so keen riders can hone their skills and strengths over the series of time trials, or just come along, spectate and support. They take place on a Wednesday evening so unlike previous years, they don't clash with the Youth section's regular activities.
The time trials take place out on the road and so every young rider must be escorted round the circuit by an experienced adult. We are looking to arrange an introductory ride so riders can get acquainted with the route before the time trials, ask questions and generally familiarise themselves with it all.
In previous years, many of the current crop of Youth riders have taken part including Zoe Howard, Jacob Chambers, Aaron Harris, Grace Turner, Calder Wilkinson, Aaron Medlyn and Joshua Benfield, so have a chat to find out how much they enjoyed them!

If you are coming, please arrive no later than 7:00pm in the lay-by near the top of Polhill. This will give you time to register and pay, put your race number on and warm up. Riders will be set off from the opposite side of the road from 7:30pm.
Parents, family and friends are encouraged to support their children, but please bear in mind the current government guidelines when it comes to social distancing and mass gatherings. Unlike previous years there will be no-one to hold/push the rider off at the start, and unnecessary waiting around at the end of the event is discouraged where possible.
