On 18 August, the club's EGM unanimously decided to move the club's activities from being run by an 'unincorporated' organisation to an 'incorporated' Company Limited by Guarantee. The reason for the change was to enable to club itself (rather than individual committee members) to enter into contracts and hold assets on behalf of the club. Full details about the EGM and the proposal are on the website here. From Monday 29 October all the membership, activities, contracts, assets and key organisational documents have moved from Bigfoot Go-Ride to Bigfoot Youth Cycle Club Ltd, and Bigfoot Go-Ride will now be wound up. How does it affect you? And what do you need to do? There is no need for anyone participating in the club to do anything.

Although there will be some changes behind the scenes to our bank account and our club membership database these should have very little impact on you as club members - we'll keep you posted if anything changes.
