After months of uncertainty we are pleased to inform you that our Youth branch coaching sessions are returning to Croydon Arena on Monday evenings.

Mondays at Croydon Arena are road bike training sessions. The Arena is an excellent venue, with space for some really good cycling. You can expect a proper workout, perfect training for riders who participate in cycling as a sport, and great fun for those who want to improve their skills and fitness.

We have the Arena  booked on Monday 7 and 14 December, and sessions will resume after the Christmas break. Sessions run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Please note that Croydon Arena is not suitable for mountain biking and riders should bring a road bike.

Croydon Arena is at Albert Road, South Norwood, Croydon, SE25 4QL – beware the vehicle height barrier at the car park entrance.

Pre-registration required

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all coaching sessions must be pre-booked, and there is limited capacity due to social distancing requirements. Book your place here: http://tiny.cc/bigfootyouthregistration

You must be a club member with up-to-date British Cycling membership to book a place.

If you have not booked please do not turn up on the day as unfortunately you will not be allowed to take part.

Monday night off-road rides cancelled

The planned Monday night off-road rides (which had been arranged in place of the Arena sessions) will not now be held, although we will try to arrange some mountain bike sessions on other dates.

If you have pre-registered a place on either of the two planned off-road rides, your registration(s) will automatically be transferred to the Croydon Arena coaching sessions instead. If you don't wish to come along to the Croydon Arena session(s) please can we ask that you cancel your registration(s) by following the instructions below.

Cancelling your pre-registration

If you have pre-registered a place at a coaching session but can no longer attend, please remember to cancel your registration to free up the place for another club member. Follow these simple steps:

2. Find the session you can no longer attend. If you are booked on the session and logged into your child's British Cycling account it will say "I'm In" next to the session.

3.To cancel your registration, click on the X next to "I'm in", then click CONFIRM on the dialogue box. You will receive a confirmation email.
