Coaching fees now due for Autumn 2018

The new cycle coaching year starts in just two weeks, which means that it’s now time to pay next term’s coaching fees.

The coaching fees for the Autumn term are:

  • Bigfoot Mini - £25
  • Bigfoot Go-Ride (Hayes AM and PM) - £40
  • Bigfoot Youth - £65 (covers two sessions per week)

Now that we are using British Cycling’s membership manager for our club records, all coaching fees must be paid online through British Cycling’s club subscription payment interface, which can be found here:

Make sure that you select the correct branch subscription to avoid your payment being rejected.

Note that you must be logged into your child’s British Cycling account in order to make the coaching fee payment. If you don’t know your child’s British Cycling membership details please complete our form at and we’ll do our very best to help you.

Please do not make payments by bank transfer as this will lead to delays in your membership being confirmed.

As this is a new payment system we appreciate that it might take a while to get used to it. If you experience any difficulties or have any questions please let us know by completing the online form at which will ensure that we have all the information we need to help you.

All fees set out above include a £1 administration fee which is charged to us by British Cycling.

A note on British Cycling membership

As you know, Bigfoot Go-Ride doesn’t charge an annual membership fee to our Mini, Go-Ride and Youth members. However, we do require all our club members to join British Cycling, the national governing body for cycling sport.

The British Cycling membership level that Bigfoot Go-Ride members need to have is “Race Silver”. This offers a number of benefits, including liability insurance, legal support, a provisional race licence, and access to a wide range of expert training advice.

Please note that from next term (January 2019) you will not be able to pay Bigfoot's coaching fees unless you are a current British Cycling member, which will affect your club membership.

Leaving the club?

While we never like to see members go, we appreciate that kids move on, and there are only so many clubs and activities that can be squeezed into a busy week.

If you are leaving the club this term and don’t intend to renew your child’s membership then disregard this payment notice. However, please let us know by emailing

This will stop you getting reminders about unpaid coaching fees, and it will allow us to offer a place to one of the many children on our waiting list.
